Peridium 31–43 µm thick, composed of 4 to 6 layers of pseudoparenchymatic cells, opaque, membranous and subhyaline at the base when the base is immersed, darker near the beak; cells 6–14 x 2–6 µm, of textura angularis in surface view and median longitudinal section |

Beak: |
Beak 190–216 x 96–136 µm, cylindrical, curved at the apex, ostiolate, periphysate, dark-brown, composed of elongated outer cells and rounded inner cells toward the base. |

Paraphyses up to 390 µm long and 3-5 µm wide, wider at the base, tapering toward the apex. |
